The meeting in Bonn had a strong focus on the need to share, standardize and merge data that will be included in the multi-taxon forest biodiversity platform that will be at the core of the whole Action.
Participants agreed on the three levels of detail for the data to be collected: metadata; aggregated data and raw data.

The communication team lead by Theo van der Sluis and composed of Julie Ballweg and Sabina Burrascano met to define a communication strategy for the Action.
Following the indications of the COST Association training on advanced social media, the communication team proposed a strategy based on the website, including also a blog, whose updates should be spread through Twitter, Linkedin and other platforms (facebook, researchgate).

The discussion starts with the resume of the tasks and deliverables of WG1 that should frame the workflow. Presentation of a three steps workflow: metadata, aggregated data, original data points to the definition of the format and preliminary analysis of these data with different level of detail.

The participants were welcomed by Estelle Emeriau, Science Officer and by Aranzazu Sanchez, Administrative Officer of the Action. Estelle Emeriau.
